Intelia Consultores, a company dedicated to the technical and business consulting in the telecommunications sector, and which conducts products development related to the design and implementation of telecommunications networks , has just launched Xiri o Online a radio planning tool on the web .
This application presents a completely new concept as it allows to carry out wireless networks planning without the need for tools or own digital cartography.

XIRIO Online presents two independent modules: PLANNINGTOOL as radio planning tool, and SHAREPLACE as generic application for consulting and exchanging of results.The PLANNINGTOOL module has a comprehensive collection of radio services perfectly parameterized that let you set your simulations in just a moment.

It incorporates a powerful calculation engine which is updated with the calculation methods most used and internationally recognized.O n the other hand , the SHAREPLACE module allows Xirio's Online users to publish the results of their studies and pro vide other users access to them, r esulting in an ideal tool for sharing project information with different areas of the organization, customers, suppliers, etc.

The access to XIRIO Online PLANNINGTOOL is completely free and users can perform low resolution calculations at no cost. The application has a system of credits that can be acquired in real time and consume only when user performs calculations at high resolution or with advanced mapping.

The Xirio Online user interface uses the well known mapping viewer provided by GoogleMaps ®, ensuring availability of graphical representation worldwide. Furthermore, and thanks to agreements with multiple cartographic suppliers , the application incorporates the worldwide digital mapping: terrain models and elevation models (including buildings) that represent the terrain at different resolutions. In this way, the computational needs for networks deployed in both rural and urban environments a re covered.

 
At the moment Intelia Consult ores has set up only SHAREPLACE module, allowing access to PLANNINGTOOL for testing . It is planned to launch the full functionality of the application on the third quarter of this year.
