Xirio-Online offers a basic calculation rate of different duration (weekly or 30 days) that allows the realization of an unlimited number of high resolution calculations during the contracted time:

- Weekly basic calculation rate. It allows high resolution calculations for a week from the purchase.

- 30 days basic rate . It allows high resolution calculations for 30 days from the purchase.

The basic rate includes:

- Free high resolution calculations. The cost associated with the calculations of all the studies conducted during the term of the fee is included in it, regardless of the resolution.

- Free cartography. These rates include the use of free maps available at Xirio-Online . If you wish to use the mapping offered by Xirio-Online , the cost of it must be paid.

Additionally, if you want to use payment cartography continuously, you can purchase cartography packages lasting a week or 30 days from the date of acquisition. The following link outlines the advantages of using a payment cartography package.

The validity of the cartography package is independent of the basic calculation rate one, so if the mapping package is acquired after the basic calculation rate, the user can continue using the mapping package after the expiration of the basic calculation rate. In that case the user would have to pay for the cost of the calculations.

The basic calculation rate can be extended or renewed.

Cartography providers:

- APTICA provides a free global digital elevation model at 100 m resolution, allowing free calculations at 400 m resolution. The source of the mapping is the NASA SRTM Project 2006.

Also, APTICA provides two types of advanced cartography from Spain at 100m resolution:

•  Morfography : It contains data on land use (forest trees, roads, waterfronts, etc).

•  Geopolitical : It contains information on population centers (area and population) to query statistics of population and area covered.

- BLOM provides urban cartography (Digital Building Model DBM) at high resolution (1m/pixel) updated in 2008, 2009 and 2010, depending on the city.

The quality and resolution of the data provided by BLOM allow you to have the best foundation for performing simulations of radio coverage with wireless technology. The data sources come from both vector and LIDAR technology, which achieves a very high precision in three dimensions (X, Y, Z) and models a scenario close to reality, identifying elements such as towers, rooftops, courtyards, etc.

- INTERMAP TECHNOLOGIES. Provides global 3D digital cartography which includes two new cartographic models, both at 5m/pixel resolution and available in Western Europe:

•  Digital terrain model (DTM): This is an elevation layer in which elements such as buildings, roads and vegetation have been removed digitally. Can be used to perform more precise calculations broadcast networks, mobile or broadband access. This layer provides the highest resolution and accuracy available in the market for large areas in Europe

•  Digital surface model (DSM): The DSM contains all elevated elements such as buildings, vegetation, pylons, infrastructures, etc. It provides a base layer for analyzing the obstruction between fixed-service radio links in microwave bands or other high-frequency technologies.

Election of cartography

- Digital Terrain Model DTM . The digital terrain model assigns an altimeter height above sea level to each pixel. This type of cartography is suitable for broadcasting network planning in which urban environments are usually modeled by adding additional clutter losses or by different thresholds depending on the type of environment.

- Digital Building Model DBM . Includes a digital terrain model plus the height of buildings in urban areas. This type of mapping is used in urban calculations.

- Digital Surface Model DSM. It includes a digital terrain model plus the height of different elements such as buildings, trees, infrastructures, etc. This type of cartography has a wider extension than the DBM since it includes urban and rural environments. This makes it suitable for access and transport networks design.
