SPECTRAL EFFICIENCY CURVES

Inicio  Anterior  Siguiente

From this dialog you can configure the spectral efficiency curves of the users/services (multi-coverage study) or the LTE scheduler. These curves relate the bit rate required with the necessary bandwidth for a given SINR.

Default Curves. In Xirio there are a number of curves defined by default. These curves consider different forms of MIMO (SIMO, 2x2 CLM1, 2x2 spatial multiplexing) and users schedulers (RR, FDPS) [1]. By changing the selected curve, the curve parameters are automatically updated. It is also possible for the user to define their own settings.

Effective bandwidth. It adjusts the efficiency of the system regarding the bandwidth [1].

Effective SINR. It adjusts the efficiency of the system regarding the SINR [1].

Gain (dB). It quantifies the gain due to the use of multiple antenna schemes (MIMO) [1].

Minimum SINR (dB). Below this SINR value, the throughput obtained is considered 0 bps/Hz [1].

Maximum Throughput (bps/Hz). Maximum throughput can be achieved with the curve of spectral efficiency [1].
