To create a study click on the icon on the toolbar, or by selecting the "Studies" folder in the window caption and then "Create new study" option in Actions window.

Select the type of study (link, coverage, etc) and service or technology you want to simulate. This allows Xirio to configure the other parameters of the study and the elements involved with suitable default values to the type of calculation to perform.

By default, Xirio creates a study practicaly functional. Although it is recommended to edit the parameters, to fit the actual scenario that the user wants to simulate. On the following screens the user will need to configure the different elements of the study: transmitter, receiver, ends, compute method, calculation area, cartography, antennas, etc.

If you have to do a coverage study you can use a "Wizard mode" in order to create the study. Wizard mode guide you in the process with easy and explained steps, until you finish. I'ts the best way to known the aplication and understand the studies creation because wizard mode show you all necesary parameters ande elements that you can find in Xirio.
