ACTIONS OF MULTITRANSMITTER COVERAGE STUDY

You can access the following options from the actions panel of the multi-coverage study:

multicoverage_actions

Modify study. From this option, you access the multi-coverage configuration window.

Center viewer on study. Locates the selected multi-coverage on the viewer.

Adjust area automatically. This option allows you to define calculation area of individual coverage and multi-coverage studies based on a signal threshold, interference or a distance determined by the user.

Common modifications. It allows that changes made in one coverage included in the multi-coverage study can be applied to all or a selection of the individual coverages that are part of the study.

Delete study. Deletes the selected study, with all the radio elements, from the user's account.

Close study. Closes the selected study and removes its result from the viewer.

 

In addition, the lower section of the panel has the following options related to the study calculation:

Free low-resolution calculation. This option performs a free calculation on the selected study with low resolution.

High-resolution calculation. This option performs a high resolution calculation on the selected study. Selecting this option a window will be displayed where you can indicate the resolution of individual calculations and also details calculation price and cartography before it start. It will be necessary to validate data on this screen before proceeding to calculation.

Coverage statistics calculation. It is a detailed report with information about the covered population and area percentages.

Calculate interferences. From this option you can perform the interference calculation at high resolution on the selected study. Selecting this option a window will be displayed where you can indicate coverage considered to be interfering and resolution of individual calculations, calculation price and cartography is also detailed before it start. It will be necessary to validate data on this screen before proceeding to calculation.

Calculation of capacity (Only LTE services). From this option you can perform the calculation of capacity on the selected study. Selecting this option a window will be displayed detailing calculation price and cartography before it start. It is necessary to have previously performed an interference calculation to have this option available. For futher nformation about necessary parameters to configurate this kind of calculations and results that are obtained.

Calculation and visualization of route. It allows the user to view drive-test measurements recorded in a text file. It also allows the signal level and interference calculation provided by each transmitter of the multi-coverage on each coordinate. The following link describes the file format and steps for visualizing the route.

Calculate the adjusment of measures. Once the route calculation and visualization is done, this option allows an adjustment of the calculation method used from the measurements.

Calculation of interference in a point. Once the interference is calculated, it is possible to calculate interference at one point. This option generates a table with values ​​of received field, interfering field and interfering power generated by each transmitter.

Neighbouring calculation (LTE services only). Opens the configuration for the automatic calculation of neighbors and overlaps for each sector of the multi-transmitter coverage. The studio must have at least 2 coverages for this option to be available.

Update the neighboring configuration table (LTE services only). Allows you to dump the result of a neighbor calculation on the neighbor configuration table of the study. This option will only be available if a neighbor calculation has been previously performed.

PCI assignment (LTE services only). Opens the table for the calculation and assignment of PCIs (Physical Cell IDs). The allocation of PCIs will be enabled once the neighbor configuration is done (either automatic or manual).
